Default WTF-new clutch install now motor falls in a "hole" at 7,500

Just put a new clutch in my 88CRX Si with modded b18c with itr tranny. Went to test drive the car and it will cut out and "fall in a hole" around 7,500 to 8,000 but have also noticed may do a little "bog" around 3,000. I guess I mucked up on a ground wire to the MAF or something? I have hondata in the car. Any helpful hints on what I should chase and where? I am a "cookbook mechanic" so diagnostics is not my forte. Thanks in advance.

Honda's dont have a MAF, they have a MAP sensor so its not that...
