how different were the sunroofs in a 2ng gen conpared to a 3rd? i doubt it, but are they interchangable??? i have a '91 gs with the whole sunroof assembly torn out. theres glass in it, but it just siliconed in there, and it f'ing leaks. the guy i bought it from said honda would replace the whole thing for $300, i just laughed. so, like im thinking, am i going to have to find a 2nd gen specific sunroof? thanks for your knowledge...

 

Yep, G2 sunroofs are completely different from G3. The main differences are that G2 sunroofs are smaller, flat, and open into the roof of the car. The G3 sunroofs are more curved, larger, and open above the roof of the car.

 

yeah just find someone parting out a G2 and buy the sunroof assembly...i sold a mint one from a gs-r i had for $50

 

i have a totalled g2 gsr if u need the sunrrof... but yeah, the g2 and g3 are diff

yeah man and u know what else sucked? she only had 62k original miles on her . but i took the engine and putting it in another g2 gsr...same color and everything!!!

 

around how much does it cost to replace the glass on the sunroof?? i need to get a new one.
