Good News!

Do you know how simple it is to go to Heaven after this
life has ended?

The good news is that God came from Heaven to earth
in the person of Jesus Christ over 2000 years ago and
died for our past, present and future sins(misdeeds).
He was born in the land of Israel supernaturally to a
virgin Jewish woman named Mary. He lived a sinless life
for thirty-three years and then sacrificed His sinless
blood and died on a cross to pay the death penalty for
our sins.

After Jesus died He rose from the dead three days later
as He said He would. The Holy Bible also tells us that
Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven and that all who accept
Him as their Lord and Saviour will live forever with Him
in Heaven where there is no more death, sorrow, sickness
and pain.

The Holy Bible very clearly explains how simple it is
to be saved and on your way to Heaven, "For if you
confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe
in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you
WILL BE SAVED." (Romans 10:9)

You can be saved right now and on your way to Heaven if
you will open your heart to Jesus and pray the following
prayer:

Dear Jesus Christ, I want to be saved so that I can have
a home in Heaven when I die. I agree with You that I am a
sinner. I believe You love me and want to save me. I
believe that You bled and died on the cross to pay the
penalty for my sins. I believe that You rose from the dead.
Please forgive my sins and come into my heart and be my
Lord and Saviour. Thank You Lord Jesus Christ for
forgiving me and saving me through Your merciful grace.
Amen.

You are now a Christian if you said the prayer and allowed
God to save you. Welcome to the family of God.

If you decide to wait till later you may die before you get
another chance to be saved because none of us knows
exactly when we will die.

This means that if we die without trusting in Jesus Christ
as our Lord and Saviour we will be forever separated
from the love of God in a place called Hell. This place
called Hell is a place of eternal torment, suffering, pain
and agony for all those who have rejected Jesus Christ.

If you allow Jesus Christ to save you today you will have
peace in your life now and forever.

I appreciate your concern for all of us here on Honda-Tech. Can I give you some practical advice? (enter prayer here) We talk about our passion for our cars and life as it relates to cars here, Hondas; this being Honda-Tech. I believe God is the source of all passion, so we are in some way all CONNECTED, believers and agnostic, Import, Domestic and 2 wheel speed freaks alike Believe me or not, I listen to people that I have a relationship with. Call me crazy. You have to have a point of refrence for what you say so people will listen to you IMHO. Its kinda hard to fly in here from some unfamiliar place and have people listen to what you have to say.

Again, I appreciate your concern... perhaps your time will be best spent praying for us. If you wanna show us your ride and get to know us, cool but people around here only really listen to what you have to say if they know who you are based on hanging out and posting If you drive an ITR and Love VTEC, they MIGHT listen to what you have to say about the Christ. I personally believe VTEC to be God inspired! Call me crazy... but its ok, I am People that know me can attest to that...

I respect your boldness, what you write is HIS "good news" but you only reached me who is another believer! You want to reach other people? I say give em God with Skin On. Give em you. Let them sense what you believe once they know you; know that the Holy Spirit does <U>HIS</U> good work regardless of what <U>you</U> do BUILD RELATIONSHIPS! People are who they are and are gonna only do what thier hearts tell them is real. Head knowledge is not the goal brother. God is in the heart changing business, not so much the mind changing business. All the stuff of belief and life flows from the HEART!

I'd say thats way uncalled for....this post certainly doesn't belong here, but i strongly believe we weren't all put here by some "big bang theory". Hopefully this gets locked shortly...but there is no need for all the derogatory comments!

how egocentric of you to believe theres only your god and nobody elses

 

yea it is kinda egocentric to say those kinda things. sometimes us christians can get like that, I confess that to you for sure. but, I kinda like the idea of a God that cared enough to take on human flesh and live like us until he was killed by his own people for those that would one day believe in HIM. The Bible does say there are other gods. However, he has been the one to display his Glory in specific ways so that we can know him, one of which was becoming a guy like us. regardless of what people might say, Jesus of Nazareth did live and he did die a gruesome death after living an amazing life of service to others. his people shouldnt be in the business of taking truth from people. his scriptures say that HE is the truth, the source of all truth. I believe that people that know anything that is preserving, life sustaining, etc. demonstrate God's Grace to all people belivers or not. I am happy that there are other religions, they all have rules to follow. however, what sets this one apart is that it is less of a religion than any of them because it has to do with in one's own heart knowing this God directly. hes the only God of promise to all who follow him, we cant impress him anymore once we accept the gift of his work to pay for the way we have offended God. we have nothing to prove to HIM, because its his work that God sees and I will take that every day of the week! I know I wont be able to stand before God through my work alone. This man, Jesus is the only one that cared enough to pay the price for all of our unfaithfulness. If he is alive, I will follow him until the last drop of blood. If he is dead, its all a lie... St. Paul said it himself best "why not go out, get drunk and live it up... gratify all your desires because we are of all men most to be felt sorry for!!!" All that means is that we (christians) should live like he did... to be a servant. we have an amazing LORD, however we are oft times weak, frail, judgemental, rude, ignorent, quick to speak and slow to listen and stiffnecked. I confess this to all you guys, those that know me and those that are reading. this isnt what was meant, one day everyone will know for sure. my goal now is because I do love God, to live a life that says... hey we are all going to the grave at some point... I have hope and I trust that the hope in me will add to you and not take away I belive, because I believe... because I believe. I can tell you with all my heart that our God is a good God and hears all those that call out to him and mean it.

 

i also believe in god, but my god allows me to kid around with him and say things to him like that...

today, he has me stuck at work so i'm not very happy with him

Good then you can go to jail. Your Jesus also preached about love, acceptance and tolerance. Punching him in the face is ignorance, and its a sin.

 

yes, you are right... but he can ask forgiveness and repent and allow God to change his heart so that his bursts of anger can come under control. I apologise to you, we are bad reflections of the Goodness of Christ.

In the U.S. we have freedom of speech and many other things that make it such a wonderful place. This is h-t.com, an auto forum not religion. Do yourself and us a favor, go tell someone who wants to listen to you. It is called having common courtesy and respect. Do not try and make someone believe what you have a passion for. If for some odd reason you are driving your car and the brakes in your car suudenly decide not to work, give @@@ a call he will probably have time for you, RL.
