Default 1998-2001 OEM Type R Lip from Acura Dealership?

Hey guys...I wanted to get a Lip from the Acura Dealer...I just got my tax return back today ;x...so I don't really care if they vaseline me.....even if its $300+ dollars...but has anyone ever purchased one from the dealer? my friend said that they give you a hardware installation kit with it and you dont need no tape or anything....Does anyone know the exact price of the lip and how much it might lower the front bumper? Thanks! and one more question..Is the Oem lip from acura discontinued? Thanks...

I hear the same thing, that they stopped making them after the 01 Integra. Good luck finding the real one, I gave up and bought a urethane replica.

I got one from them (acura dealership in norcal) before and it cost me $375....it was the OEM lip and yes no tapes just screws that bolt on to the side and the bottom. From what I know there are dealerships that still distribute it because i had a friend whos ITR got backed into by a truck and totally messed up the front (about 2 months ago) and he bought a new bumper with the lip from the same dealership

Man I wish I knew that before I bought the fiberglass rear and sides, which are still in the box and I doubt that I will put them on my car because I doubt that they will look as good as the real ones. I should send them back and get my $350 back and just put the front lip on

First the dealership will rip you a new one for one of those if they still made em but they stopped after the 2001 year...some still do carry them though like E.J. said but where I live HA! you'd be better off getting a comptech or WW imo, even though the fitment isnt perfect it still looks great, I have the WW one and it works for me!

try searching local. I searched around and found my lip. OEM ITR lip 160 picked up. No tape, just a bunch of screws. Just take your time and save some money.

There's no such thing as a gsr lip kit or itr lip kit... it's all oem optional. The itr came with a front lip that is exactly the same as the oem optional.

I bought mine unpainted just a few weeks ago and I just layed new cypress green on it, I will sell it for $300 seriously I would, it would take a good price to part with since it took me forever to find it.
