Default g3 ac belt change

ok, im out in the snow changin my belts, it sucks... at any rate, im tryin to change the ac belt, how does it come off the car. i have it off the actual pump and tensioner...but there is a motor mount in the way? please dont tell me i have to take off the motor mount to remove the ac belt.

Okay, I won't tell you that you have to unbolt the motor mount to remove or reinstall the AC belt. You did ask how it comes off though...

LOL - It's really not as difficult as it sounds (just some large bolts), although I probably wouldn't want to be out in the cold and snow doing it.

i was changing all my belts and came across the AC belt and saw what i had to with the motor mount and was like forget it...the other belts as you probably know are very easy...

what so hard about removing the motor mount?

just untension the a/c compressor too

loosen up the motor mount bolts then jack the motor up a lil bit til u can get the slide bolt comes off and take the rest of the nuts off and waaalaaa belt comes off n ur done.

the top right motor mount doesnt really hold the engine, it's mainly the bottom brackets that do, so you can go ahead and remove that mount without worrying, i do it all the time.
