Default Hi from Ireland!

HI guys,

ive just upgraded from a hyundai coupe (tiburon to you guys) to an integra type R, championship white, 99 with 37k on the clock and i live over the atlantic in ireland, im picking it up tomorrow!

vtec - what can i say! i didnt believe it until i experienced its phenomenal!

plans for the car are simple, its in such perfect condition that i dont want to spoil it with anything too in your face. A new set of bridgestones, some light smoke tints all round and maybe remove the resonator.

i'm sure i'll have a whole heap of questions at some stage

anyways, ill throw up a few pics when i pick it up - even though its standard im sure some of you can appreciate it in its purest form. i've attached a pic of my hyundai coupe/tiburon - you honda boys don't need to comment at all as i've realised the error of my previous ways!!!

talk later guys!

Welcome! It must be 180 degrees from a Tiburon.
Looking forward for your Irish DM pics!

Congrats on the purchase! A lot of common questions can be answered via the FAQ (near the top of the thread list in the forum) and of course using the search. If you can't find an answer in there someone should be able to help.

Hello. Are the front ends on the ITR's the same as the UK's in Ireland? Seems like you would get the JDM RHD. I wonder why honda used a different front end for export?

thanx for the welcome guys...

seems the pic of my old car (which i still love admittedly) isnt working at the minute, definitely was earlier!

hey man, what part of ireland are you from? i'm from the north, just outside belfast - technically part of the UK i guess.

we have the twin headlight front here, anything else i think is a jap import. i dont know much about integras yet. was going to order an AEM for them but it seems they're taking a bit of abuse from you guys. suggestions for a good manifold at reasonable money would be appreciated and cams also!

Just drive it for now, and upgrade the weakest link as you polish your driving skills.

I am from Kildare. Like someone else said drive it for a while before you start changing anything. Also cams wouldnt be one of the first things you would go changing anyway. Id suggest maybe an exhaust or manifold i have j's racing exhaust and manifold and i find them great i get all my stuff from Tuning Factory in Dublin they specialise in Hondas they have a website but it is not fully finished here is the link anyway.
