Default Engien and trans swpa help needed

Taking the engine and transmission out of a '89 Accord LX-i with an automatic, and putting it into a '88 LX-i with a 5 speed.

SO what all is involved to convert it from a 5 speed to auto. I know gauges, ECU, Transmission, shifter, and maybe the underhood wiring. Anything else ? Does the wiring for the 5 speed gauges have the wires for the gear position lights, or will I have to change the under dash wiring also.

Thanks in advance

Just to be clear, I am converting a 5 speed to an auto

There are no "gear position lights" on a manual. Other than that, your list is good.... Oh, you forgot the clutch pedal

I think you misunderstood me. I am converting a 5 speed car to an automatic. The automatic car's gauges has P/R/N/D4/D3/2 on them. The 5 speed car does not have this. What I am asking is , does the wiring harness, under the dash of the speed, support the gear position lights. In other words, did Honda use the same wiring harness for both the auto and the manual cars ? Or am I going to have to change the whole under dash wiring harness for the gear position lights to work in the manual car when I swap the aup and gauges over.
