hey guys i've been doing my mini me for 7 damn days now and here's the deal!

d15b(usdm block) d16z6 head

i put the d15b dizzy on the z6 head..it didnt fit right so i just tried to move it from side to side now it works(the car starts) but i can't blot it on so i get a d16z6 dizzy transfer all my internals from the d15 dizzy over(coil,ignitor,rotor) to the d16z6 dizzy....put in my d16z6 dizzy in now i get spark,have fuel,but wont start!!!! i played arround with my timing and everything and it wont start anymore...my spark is huge and my spark plugs have fuel on them(i put new ones in afterwards) it still wont start i have a mecanic working with me and he's even baffled and can't understand!

 

the distibutor has to be filed to fit, at least 2 bolts and the timing, @ the belt, has to be advanced hella

 

If you hold the gas pedal all the way down when you try and start it, will it sometimes backfire and still not start? That seems to be one of the symptoms people have when they post on here their car wont start and they finally figure out the dizzy is 180 degrees off.

i think the same thing is happening to me, if it is 180 degrees off, how do you fix it?? how can you tell?

i wouodnt do that for too long, itll flood the combustion chambers

 

Pull the dist. rotate the shaft around and put it back in and try it again.
