Default Vafc2 ¿

I just installed a vafc2 and finished the initial set up. When I hit vtec @ 5700, it feels like vtec isnt engaging? The stock settings seem to be correct.

low to high = 5700
high to low = 5400

Check the wiring again. Make sure you put all the wires in the right input as well. And what do you mean the stock setting are correct? If you set it there then you feel it kick in?

Another idea, did you tune the intial settings correctly?

Initially vtec is blank until you've driven your vehicle and engage vtec. After you've driven in vtec the vafc2 automatically reads and sets it on the stock values.

Yes Im 99% all the wires are connected and properly secured.
Yes I did the initialization set up properly.

All the initial set up asks is how many cyliinders (4), which vtec mode (1) and some arrow facing up or down (up), how many sensors (6), and hold down the throttle for 10 seconds and release for 10 seconds while reading the voltage (0 with no throttle and 4.4 (3-5) on full throttle).

Turn off the car then start it back up and engage vtec so the vafc2 can read the vtec settings.

if youre going to provide information, atleast know what you're talking about

just initialize the VAFC. Thats all. And set the cylinders to 4, otherwise the RPM reading will be off.

Do you guys have vafc or vafc2? I think there is a slight difference between the two.

I didnt mess with the vtec cross over settings. I just posted what my vafc2 displayed. Better yet, I could take a pix to show you fella's. My question is, when vtec kicks in, why dont I feel VTEC?

Are these the correct initial settings for VAFC2? Installing mine soon, and this is the only info I have been able to find. It says in the manual the vtec type is 1, but I cant find where it says anything about the number of sensors.
