Exhaust Question???
2005.2.19 (Night)
I believe "with SOME modification" it's possible... although I wouldn't buy the exhaust system just to "test fit" the whole thing.
If you are willing to spend the money on GReddy parts, why not an HKS Hi-Power system? Or the APEXi N1 (same thing as HKS isn't it? HA!)? Personally, I have an HKS system on my 95 Civic Coupe... sounds like a WRX or Supra at idle.
Good luck!

What would some modification be? How much trouble would it be to make it fit?

In regards to ""SOME" modification" I meant SOMEthing your local muffler /exhaust fabricator shop should be able to handle...handle WHAT? Well, you will most likely end up having to hack up the piping a tad, then re-weld it together to fit, but that should be run-of-the-mill type work for the muffler shop.
You'll basically be taking the EVO exhaust's muffler (rear section) and attaching it to a custom/fabricated pipe. If you go for this, try to keep the flanges on the piping so the system remains "bolt-on" (and, if possible, match up the OEM exhaust line with your new GReddy exhaust to help speed any changes in exhaust work for the future!).
The only downside, possibly, is that the shop you go to can only make crush bends rather than mandrel bends... crush bends are pipes bent by force from a machine and aren't as flow perfect as mandrel bends. Magnaflow makes pre-made mandrel bent pipe sections you can buy in a variety of pipe diameters (I think from 2" all the way to 3" in size), although the overall price with the Mandrel bent pipe pieces plus the exhaust work to get the GReddy exhaust to fit will probably end up being more than you paid for originally. Take my word for it, good crush bends (non-severe bent sections... basically the pipe isn't obviously cranked around, you can tell because the piping will bulge at the flanges more than just a tad) will work just fine for a street car. The mandrels just help push a couple extra horsepower out and keep exhaust pumping losses to an absolute minimum... which is great if you intend to be competitive say at a local AutoX.
Hope that helps and didn't confuse you more... good luck! Oh, and go HKS!

This really does not have anything to do with this but would you happen to know If I got a 5 ZIGEN FIRE5ZIGEN REAR MUFFLER would it still be angled? I know the Cat back one is but I am not sure about the axleback. Here is the link: http://www.optauto.com/index.h...B-EK4

I don't know if the 5Zigen is angled out like an HKS...well, actually I think it goes straight out instead of an angle.
Anyways, again, a muffler shop with a photo of what you want the tip to do (angle out? HKS?*laugh*) should be run-of-the-mill work. You can even angle out the EVO GReddy exhaust if it'll fit under that bumper of your hatch.
In regards to sound quality, well... GReddy is smooth and idles quiet. HKS or APEXi is ballsy (ever here a Supra or WRX mash the throttle on the freeway?) and the idle is bass filled, but it can wake up the neighbors. And 5Zigen or Tanabe tends to be like what you hear a N1 or Best Motoring Video Honda sound like as it goes around the track, idle is between Greddy and again, HKS.
Again, good luck!

I thought the 5zigen was angled? I could be wrong.
