Default Someone stole my distributor and wires... doh

So I bought this theft recovery 98 Civic EX. It came with no distributor or wires or airbox/tubing

I have a couple 97 DX and LX parts cars, will the distributor and wires work from the non-vtec cars or not?

also what has to be done to time it after I install... any tips help.

If you already ahve the distributor, why dont you try it. Im sure your d16y7 distributor will work with the d16y8 Ex motor. The plug wires will definatly work for sure.
