i aquired a 92 civic with a blown motor (nice hole right in the block) innstead of trying to repair it i found a 95 v-tec to put in it in stead. my question is, if i swich out the motors will i have to get a new computer to control the v-tec, or can i keep the computer that was in the car originally

 

depends what car do you have dx, ex, cx, ?

 

the car is an LX, and i am not sure what kind of car the motor came out of

 

yea if ur car is an LX all you'll need is a 92-95 ex computer and ur just going to have to run like 3 wires for the vtec pretty simple

if you have a 1992 civic its pre-wired for vtec . the wires are at the passenger side shock tower. orange/blue and orange/white. in the top gray plug.
