Spent the whole day doing the above, inside and outside and engine bay...went through 3 old t-shirts in the process
I even took the wheels off to clean them properly on the inside as they were black from brake dust and road grime. I'll give it about a week and it'll be as filthy as ever...roll on the summer!

then i decided i didnt like the clear side markers any more and replaced the OE ones.

Pretty amazing isn't it? A nicely kept and clean R always looks like it just rolled off the factory, like a '04 or '05 model.
The design is somewhat timeless.

I agree. Some people may knock Honda's styling as bland, but the cars' designs seem to hold up over the years.

The hood is a pretty good fitment, i was parked beside a guy the other day and he had what he claims is a varis hood on his JDM ITR and the fitment was crap, huge gaps down each side, you could almost get your finger in there in places. I wasnt sure on the vent at first mainly because we get so much damn rain, but its fine, the rain water actually falls between the radiator and the manifold so no problem there at all

You can hose the motor, just be sure to cover the dizzy and battery in plastic bags
I use Gunk engine bay cleaner and a hose. No brushing needed.</TD></TR></TABLE>

man the alternator is going to be a bitch to cover up cause of its location. Wouldn't it just be easier to steam clean the engine? I don't ahve to cover up anything then do I?

Bah! Spray those suckers down! I always do. Dizzy, alternator, battery can all take getting wet and sprayed. I wouldn't spend too much time spraying the distributor, but if it gets wet its fine.
Air filters, OTOH, probably not a good idea to spray. Sponge would survive, but still...
