C's short shifter quick question
a dude is selling me a c's short shifter (not the personal one) but it doesnt have the bushing. he tells me i need some sort of custom bushing because it's jdm... but aren't they all the same?
Yes. The only bushings I could imagine he is talking about are the plastic clear washers that go on the bottom of the shifter. Everything else just transfers over.
Use this chance to change your shifter bushings to Mugen or Energy Suspension.

the bushings on the bottom of the shifter are two bearings ( like on a skateboard wheel..just smaller)
one on each side of the shifter, then there is a circle tube inside to guide the bushing screw on the cars shift linkage.
is that what he is talking about?
not sure how much your getting it for. but ive never had to find those parts so not sure if its hard or not...

yea the pieces on that area are. two white plastic washers, two bearings, one guide tube. the two plastic washers you dont really need its just there to keep the dirt out ( i wrap mine in a plastic bag) but i couldnt tell you where to get those bearings...
how much were you spending on it? i could get you a brand new one. but it will cost alot

CxShoe, who knows, maybe the EH and EK/DC2 versions are different.

Whoa. Is that you Keith?
PS - I personally would make sure that I get the EK4/DC2 version. No fitment surprises that way, and plus the throws are short and smooth. I tried the DPS and found the throws to be longer than the std. C's.

it will work fine but you have to use washers on one side to compensate for the dc2 ,ek offset
