NO...
if you have a B series MOTOR, you need B series transmission.
the VX tranny is from a D series so it will not fit or bolt in.

I am actually going to attach a D series tranny to B series motor pretty soon. I sure someone has done it before if not I will be the first. In order to do it you need to make an adapter plate for the tranny to the motor, then you will need a custom flywheel causae the bolt pattern is different, when you drop the motor into the car you will need custom mounts (maybe??). All this is just not worth the cost and time because be much cheaper and easier to find a B series tranny. D series tranny and axles are not as strong as B series.
Still you may think y go through all this trouble, few ++ are long gears( ever cruise your B series hatch on the freeway going 70 mph in 5th just under 4500 rpm for Hours on end.) should make your motor going 70mph @ under 3k just a little happier and your wallet, another real Big plus is the extinction of B series trannies , when Guys with B series will give away there D series tranny. D tranny are everywhere and real cheap if you blow it. My opinion may not be credible because this is my 2 post
, but still love my honda.
