help with shocks on 2000 civic hatchback
hey all how is everyone
i am buying a black 2000 honda civic hatchback 5 spd with 47,000 miles on it for $2500 with a skunk 2 catback exhaust and the guy said he lowered the car 1 inch or so...he said the catback might be in the way because it is low.....so then i asked him about it and he said that the shocks are leaking.....now what the heck does that mean? is that something expensive to repair or will it effect the cars driveability or what? for $2500 that is not a bad dea,l but if he is sellin it cheap because of the shocks then im a little worried...im going to check the car out tomorrow but i wanted to know what exactly to look for before i went...so if i was to buy the car, would it be costly to replace? someone please help me out i would REALLY appreciate the help because if the shocks r nothing big then $2500 is a good *** deal for that car
thanks in advance
also any other suggestions are welcome

A set of four performance shocks for your car shouldn't be more than $300, so the repair isn't costly at all, in my opinion, and the upgrade is well worth the money.
And how the hell did you find an EK with low mileage for $2500? Check the Vin and make sure it's not stolen...

i bet the car has been wrecked or a shitload of rust
but if you get it for $2500 and its in good shape
you can sell it back out and make some money
