Stock 2000 Si shocks or KYB GR-2 shocks?
I have a 1999 EK civic
The springs will drop .5- .75"
I'm on a tight budget now
Should I get 2 month old used Stock 2000 Civic Si shocks or new KYB GR-2 shocks?
This is only for daily driving in the city...no autocross or anything

Are KYB GR2 damper/shocks better than stock 2000 Civic Si shocks?
Here is a KYB GR-2
and no, I don't need adjustable KYB AGX shocks and I cant afford them.

Get the GR-2. I had 2000 si struts with my coil overs...and let me tell you the ride sucked major ***. It was horrible. Its night and day difference with the GR-2 much better shocks, and they arent even that expensive. Do it right the first time

You're right, do it right and get the kyb's the first time, so later on I don't have to replace the Si shocks for better shocks.
Si shocks might be a bit stiffer than other stock EK shocks, but they are still stock civic shocks
KYB GR-2 and the main thing is that I can afford them!
