Well guys,
it`s long time ago since I was posting here.... long time to make up my mind.
It´s impressive how much a simple thing like a car took influence to my life. But from my position now I can tell you that I would never drive an ITR again. Why ? It`s a waste to drive it in public and it`s a money-eater if you race it. This may be not a problem in the States, but in Europe we can`t race an ITR, slam it into the wall and go and buy some parts at the next shop at the corner.... There are no parts.. We have to let them come by plane from USA or Japan.... $$$$
What I know by now, my decision to sell ITR5874 was right. Though my heart was bleeding to give it away.
I got myself a car for daily driving (what means comfort and torque and good looking in my case.... and most important: It has to be rare).
In the late 90`s, Opel (owned by GM) needed a homologation car (base model has to be sold 500 times to public) to create a racecar, to compete in the STW-series. The Vectra i500 was born. Only 500 were made. The STW-Racecar ran this 2,5V6 motor with 375bhp.

This is my new daily driver.... one of the 500 homologation cars
To not to loose the contact to Honda (without Honda, there`s no racing, an racing is in my blood), I talked to my friends at Idol-Motosport and we had been working... And I proudly can say now, that we became official Toda Racing Germany and Hondata Germany
Together with my friends I built up an EG6 hybrid, which will be a pure and only racecar....So I will keep on racing Hondas
I still hope some more people decide to join us in France:

The i500 hasn`t really anything to do with a regular Opel. The suspension is very different ( that`s a must, because the STW cars were not allowed to differ too much from the street model), the engine is modified. Maximum torque has been transferred to 6500rpm (normally it`s 5800rpm). The bhp has been raised from 170 to 200. My car has got an adjustable ITT-Koni kit.... So be sure this car has nothing to do with the ones you may know

Yeah,
every brand got their sporty cars...
Sure, it`s got leather, a/c, hifi, traction control and all that sh*t..... But it`s my daily driver..... For track action, I prefer my Hatch..

Depends on the use of the car. For daily driving I'd pimp that opel.. but I love the color so that might be why lol.
My GS-R = good daily driver with ITR springs.
