I have a 91 Civic Dx hatch...here recently i have had problems with distributor bearings going out pre-maturely because of the horsepower im putting out. Last week i noticed a roaring noise coming from it and it was extremely hot. It caused the ign module and coil to fail while i was driving about 80 mph. Back fire and check engine light came ultimately...Any advice on what could be tripping the engine light? it only comes on when the car is at idle. While driving it doesnt come on..but i do notice lack of power that was once there.
