Ball joint removal...search is down

Im having trouble removing the lower control arm from the ball joint on my friends EG and i need help of way doing it...the FAQ axle replacment thing wasnt much help on the ball joint subject.

i just did a five lug conversion. i actually undid most of them by propane torching the end of the arm and not hitting the grease boot with the flame. if you heat it long enough (expansion), the shock spring pressure popped the arm off the joint without even hitting it

. if it doesn't pop, then a slight tap gets her off.
