I bought a seat of Recaro LIKE seats with universal sliders and can't figure out how the hell these things bolt up. I'm trying to fit the OEM frame to the new seats, but it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have any experience with this?

 

you have to buy aftermarket brackets, they for $50/each on ebay and other sites. u cant mount onto stock brackets unless you modify them

 

It said universal sliders! Shiet! I've already pulled my stock seats out.

yeah, universal SLIDERS (the ones that come free with almost every seat), not BRACKETS. you need the universal <U>BRACKETS</U> from ebay for example at $50 each. seat purchases dont come with brackets for free, so u gotta buy them elsewhere

 

dont buy the brackets....get someone to make them for you...

i payed 170$ for my momo civic brackets and it is a waste...

it is just metal bars with holes welded together and painted black

kinda like that with the "o"s as holes in the metal...simple to make...

Just take the front 2 are fine and just need to be bended foward. Then take some metal and weld a bracket for the back and ur set

 

you might be able to customize your stick brackets. It cost me about $6 all together. Go here for pics
