Default Finally, my items from JDMLand.com arrived...Peep this!

Check out what finally arrived at the body shop today...

btw: Pics were taken with a Samsung Digimax 301 3.2 Megapix camera so I am already aware that they are not the best, but it's all I have...

At last, my itr hid front conversion arrived. I forgot to take a pic of the hood but it is in the back ground of the rad. support pic. Ordered the whole conversion from jdmland.com for $2800 and some change shipped. Very happy except that I was a little misinformed on the condition of the parts. I was told that the hood had one small ding that was repairable, and that the headlights were in mint condition as advertised on the site. I was told that there was nothing else wrong with any of the parts.
Now, I didnt expect to recieve mint condition parts. I knew there would be scuffed paint, nicks, chips and so on and so forth. What I didnt expect was that the rad. support must have been in a front impact before it was removed from the orig. donar car, as you can see in the pics below where it has been somewhat repaired and there are marks from a frame machine on it...

The hood had about 3-4 other dings on it, and at the front edge, it looks like it had been dropped and the edge is rolled over. The fenders have some dents and dings, and the headlights have some scratches and yellowing (maybe you can see it in the pics). Luckily enough, everything is repairable, but I would have appreciated them telling me about all of this prior to ordering.

I have been without my car since a week before christmas b/c somebody pulled out in front of me, so I am ready to get it back on the road.

Here are some extra pics that I thought I would share...

Here is a shot of the view I look at everyday that I leave work...golf course on the top of a mountian...

Nice, Im sure this thread will get flamed becuase its JDM stuff. Dunno what the big deal is, do whatever you want to YOUR car.

I LOVE JDM FRONTSx10000, If I bought a teg, JDM front would be the first thing I bought for it. The jdm headlights are clutch.

looks nice, how much of that total cost of your conversion is covered by insurance?

Actually, I have that piece...it's behind the rad. support in the pics...I also left that out...

All of the labor is covered by insurance, and I only had to pay $280 from the $2800 total for parts.

It took a week exactly to get to me.

No, not even that...The repair part of the total cost is enough to pay for it all. Insurance was trying to total the car when they did the repair estimate so they did it half assed. With them doing it half assed, they left out time for blending, frame pull, and stuff like that which will be added when the repairs start. When that gets added, it will be enough to cover the cost to fix the dings/dents on the conversion. Also, on the rad. support, there is an a/c condenser that I can possibly use b/c there is $380 on the estimate for one, so if I can use that, that will be $380 I can use elsewhere in the repairs. All I have had to pay for so far is $280 for the conversion, $50 for a fog light switch, $20 for a DA hood latch cable, $15 and some change for some spacers and gromets from the honda dealership. So I guess this whole deal kinda worked out...I dont guess I can complain about paying around $360 for an itr hid front conversion

ps..there was enough money for the parts alone ($2600 and some change) to get the conversion so thats where I got that money. there is still money in the estimate for paint and all of that.
