This is an interesting question, and one I have pondered in the past. I think that road "racing" or tracking the car is collectively harder on the entire vehicle, but drag racing is probably harder on the powertrain. Think about it, standing start, high rpm clutch drops, and hard fast shifting at or above the stock redline...
But with tracking the car, you have a whole laundry list of other things that get worn out, such as brakes, wheel bearings, shocks, bushings, etc. But that doesn't matter, because tracking the car is WAAAY more fun than drag racing will ever be

Drag racing is harder on a cars driveline and will break items at a faster rate.
Road racing wears items faster.
