OEM Honda clutch fluid vs. regular brake fluid

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the two when using it for the clutch system? Would the different fluid make the clutch feel softer/firmer?

they make honda clutch fluid? i've never seen that before, but then again its been ages since i have been to a honda parts department. but just use any old dot3 and u will be fine, they are all the same

it may cause a difference due to viscosity? i'm not sure. but if it did, it would be unnoticable.

use dot3 brake fluid. i'm sure 9/10 people use brake fluid.

Clutch fluid and brake fluid are one and the same. So...any DOT3/DOT4 fluid will work for either system. There shouldn't be a difference.

Personally I use synthetic DOT4 and bleed once a year.
