How can you tell if your rims are leaking air??
I replaced two tires on my 17s, one had a bulge and was leaking, while the other was leaking (or so i thought). I bought the new tires and one of the wheels is still leaking air!! At this point im suspecting the rim itself. Any thoughts??
Spray soapy water around the bead and valve stem and look very close for bubbles. If there is even a small leak you should fne it this way.

Is is possible that the rim has any damage to it? Has it ever been bent or anything like that. If it has that may affect the seal on the bead? Other then that try soapy water.... thats usally the best way....

Multi-piece rims that are not welded together can leak from the rubber seals between pieces. I've seen it with a set of 3-piece Racing Harts a few years back.

Think about it. Go look on the tires on your car. They say tubeless.
Now picture a hole in a wheel from a rock or something. The air that is compressed in the tire is going to escape out of that hole.

yea...my 96 exr is having similar problems....its a mystery that nobody can figure out
my car is dropped on B&G springs and tokico adjustables....and my front 2 tires always lost air, i had to pump them up every week. Then one day i put my front tires in the back...and move the back ones up, now the 2 tires in the front have the same damn problem (which used to be the tires in teh back!)
Everybody looks at me weird when I tell them my situation....then I asked them if i could put a tube inside....but they said no, its dangerous
