I just bought a 98 type r should I go turbo or all motor?
Why do you need to modify it? Is the R such a shitty car that its surpressing your pro driving skills...? Leave it alone and learn to drive it to its limits stock first.

Keep it stock, then once you can drive, put some ALL MOTOR bolt ons on there. It will be more than enough tokeep you happy.
do you have a budget to fix things when they break?
advice to take or leave:
1.) keep it how it is for a time and learn how to drive and maintain your car
yourself by meeting people that do this for a living and like to teach
2.) go to the track. observe people's setups and the performance they yeild,
try and drive cars to guage more what you like
3.) be realistic to your needs
4.) have fun.
wether you go all motor or turbo, I hope you would consider some of
these suggestions.
good luck,
mike

no offense taken, modding cars is all personal preference.

Throw up some pics.
I'd leave it alone and enjoy it stock before spending money altering things.
Since you're asking, I'd go all motor if/when you do decide to mod.
