Default Recently Cleaned IACV now have problems?

I recently cleaned my IACV, because my car would sometimes Idle low at stop lights. So now after I cleaned it and put it back on, it got worst. Should I get another IACV? This is on a 95 Civic d15b7. Also what does the torque screw do thats on the IACV? Thanks!

edit: I would also like to know how to adjust the Idle if there is a certain screw or something? This car is an automatic!

it may be your distributor...i had that same problem, i thought it was the iacv, and the problem stayed the same after i cleaned it...i got it checked out at a local shop and it was my distributor and plug wires...

You probably cleaned most of it up, but in the process pushed some dirt into the vaccum passages. did you ever spray your throttle body too, it can do the same thing. solution, take apart and clean throughly

when you unplug the IAC valve you have to reset it a certain way. i thought i knew how but i could never get it right. i have a friend thats a honda tech and he reset the idle for me. im sure someone on here knows how to set the idle correctly, but there are a lot of people that will tell you the wrong way.
