on my black civic the window trim (i believe is plastic/rubber? its kinda fading and wondering is it possible to paint over that ? and if so what do you have to do to paint it? primer than paint what color black, flat black? thanx

 

you can paint it...i did that to mine...it started to crack and fade, so i just directly spray painted over it by using duplicolor flat black trim paint...no more bling bling and fading

i got it at autozone...so far ive only seen that paint there...its a green can with a flat black cap

i didnt buy the flat black i just bought the black....is that too bright of a black to put on? or should i go back and buy flat black?

 

black will do just as good as flat black

 

I've heard of people succesfully using electrical tape.

Try it and take some pix, cause I'm curious myself.

Regular black is ok!

probably but its a good thing its only 1 dollar a roll and a one dollar roll can last youa whole year =P

 

The tape been on my car for a little over a month now and no peling and its also been through lots of rain.

Im gonna try this whenever i get over the flu . cd_5TUNR your accord looks good with the amber corners and such, just get some rims.

 

i did my trim on my civic with the trim paint over five years ago and its still holding up good, the key is its special trim paint for rubber, and yes u can get it anywhere.
