no, the pistons only have 8 valve reliefs.

yes the engine can have a mini , just switch out the pistons for 16 valve reliefs.

No it can't unless you switch the pistons out to the appropriate 16 valve pistons from either a D15B2 or D15B7 (there may be others but these are the best for keeping the compression in the right area)

Yes the hf pistons only have 8 valve reliefs, and the logical thing to do would be to swap a6 pistons in... However there has been people who have swapped the head on without changing pistons but im not sure of the outcome

What about 88 d15b1 pistons. The 88 std has 9.6 cr instead of 89-91's 9.2. Just wondering...

I have heard that its possible to use the hf block for a mini me. Its been a while but my buddy told me about it when he had an hf. Supposidly they ran better than other mini me becuz of compression. But its just what i heard, and it was prolly 2 years ago.

the cx motor has only 8 valves also, but the pistons have 4 valve reliefs on each....are you sure the bottom end isn't the same except for the head??

What causes that extra .4 bump in compression? I was under the impression that it shared the same head and pistons with the B2.
