Default Racing Harnesses, where to put them???

hey guys, im about to buy these racing harnesses from a friend but i dont kno where to hook them up in my 94 gsr. when he had it hooked up, no one could sit behind him. so im just wondering where i should put mine and would people be able to sit behind me? Thanks in advanced and pics would be nice on where the belts should be connected to thanks agian.

it best to put them behind you as straight as possible, the best thing to do if you want to seet people behind you is to get one if the crossbars from the top bucle mount to buckle mount, run the belt throught the slot and then to the seat mounting bolts, if you have the belts coming out at an angle if your in an accident the will compress your spine

it's simple, it's a street car, not a race car.

race harnesses go in race cars.

seat belts go in street cars.

Don't use a racing harness and expect to use the back seat.

Unless you have a roll cage, I wouldn't put a racing harness in your car. If you ever roll over the harness isn't going to hold you up as the roof caves in.

Actually, you have it reversed. Most harnesses will hold you upright, and without adequate rollover protection, you can be severely/fatally injured in the event of a crash. You are, however, correct in that most cases you shouldn't be running harnesses without proper roll protection.
