Dont build the B16 and just spray a 75 shot to it with a single fogger.

Why the **** you go forged internals for a 100 shot?

Your B16 will take a 100 shot stock and laugh for a long time and spend that money you woulda spent on internals on a nice header, intake mani and maybe some headwork....

I would go turbo d16 but no way in hell would I build a B16 for a 100 shot. Go nothing under 150-200 2 stage if you build your motor for n20

The thing with spraying a 200 shot is that your only going to get in one, maybe two decent runs on a 10lb bottle.

The nice thing about a B16 with a bottle will be that he will have a "sporty" reliable car then something pretty quick on the bottle.

this makes it an even harder decision, its going back and forth between sohc turbo and dohc spray. thanks for all the input so far.

I am running .7 bar (basically 10psi) on my stock bottom end d16z6 right now, with a conservitive tune and I haven't had any problems.

Why build the bottom like that for 10 psi?

I'm about to turbo my D16Z6 with stock internals, and go up to 9-10 psi in the future ...with new turbo components only, for no more than $2500 at all.... and the engine has 102K miles ...

It sure does. That stuff cost me about 250 and I got it for nearly at cost from an HT member that works at Honda. If I hadn't found him it was going to be over 200 for the bearings alone.

And trust me, there is always something else, it never ends.

As others have stated before nitrous is fun yes, but you dont have it all the time....where turbo its there when you want it. I did nitrous a while back been there done that....not as much fun as my turbo setup.

boosted single cam. Some really nice numbers going around on the d. Boost can be as realiable as NA just need a good tune and be smart about driving it normal.

screw nitrous unless drag racing is all you care about. Also a turbo d series running 10psi will not need to be built. You can run 10psi on a stock motor no problem.
