Default Weekend project

Heres what my car got done last weekend. Got a front lip back that was origianlly white so I just painted it black until I can get the front and back lip painted. Mobil-1 oil change. And after 5 years of being slammed I am finally over it and put some H&R oe springs on the car. It rides SO MUCH BETTER with these compared to my H&R races.

Let the flaming begin. Oh yea the dent was a little new years present from a drunk.

Before

The Supplies

New lip

After Spring Install:
front:

rear:

Finished:

I know you all are going to hate the height but I was just tired of slamming into everything.
PS. New 16's on the way (gonna get rid of SOME of that gap)

What are those wheels? I like them.

That dent looks pretty painful...

I am not sure exactly how it happened. I left my car at a friends house out on the street. Its a pretty quiet neighborhood so I didn't think anything of it. The next morning I come back from this house I stayed at to find the dent. No note, banged on all the neighbors doors and of course nobody knew anything.

My guess is a truck backed into it with the corner of its bumper.

First estimate was 2000 and maybe more if the supports in the trunk were unrepaiable. BASTARD!!!!!!!

16's with the same tire size - 205-50. Hopefully it will fill the wheel well out a bit.

P.S. IF YOU LIVE IN FL the rims are sort of for sale. PM me if anyone is interested.

Ouch. At least it's slightly lower than before and hopefully even lower with some 16s. I'd rather ride at stock height and no lip for fixing that dent though.

Man it looks like you have awesome roads where you are, though. Wish they were like that up here.

That's just because you didn't have proper suspension travel (I'm assuming you don't have short stroke stocks...mainly because no one makes short stroke shocks aside from the ones in full coilovers).

Your right.

It wasn't stock height. It was lowered on H&R race springs. And the dent is so expensive to fix I think I am just going to wait till I get hit again. LOL The lip was only 50$ and I got the springs in trade for my old ones.

It didn't go back ALL THE WAY to stock height but close. And this car will never be able to sell. 6 accidents and counting....

Thanks for the replies
