Default boosted D-series w/ EXmag

do you guys think it would be stupid to run a 3" downpipe and test pipe into a 2.36" diameter RSR EXmag catback??...... cause i want a quieter exhaust and something not so god damn BLING (have 5Zigen fireball right now) to run on my boosted D coupe....how much HP would it be robbing compared to a 3" mandrel Kteller or N1 turbo catback??

thanks

Yes, stupid. That's what I have now. Without the Ecutout, it would suck. But if you have an E Cutout, it's awsome!!!!

ktellet 3" and put a resonator maybe 2, 3" and magnaflow 3" muffler.

A resonator or 2 even will give you a nice sound wih a decent muffler. I plan on running that setup but i may omit the resonators due to funds.

plus you could sell your exhaust and have a big chunk of cash for the new 3"

I have 2.5 inch straight pipe all the way back with no cat or resonators, just a Dc sport muffler. Quiet as stock. 3 inch can't be that much louder. As long as it doesn't leak it should be quiet.

best exhuast are straight thru exmag isn't straight thru so your losing a good amount of power but if your gonna go with a straight thru it gonna be alot louder then the exmag. i switch from exmag to a magna flow.
