Default PLEASE HELP WITH CLUTCH PROBLEM or I might get stuck at school today

Ok on my way to school today, I noticed a lot of play in my clutch pedal (I can push it like half way down without any sort of resistance at all). Then all of a sudden, I could not get my car in gear. Everytime I had to shift, I would have to rev match to get my car in gear. Then my check engine light came on, and although it was still messed up, it seemed to be a little better (ie: easier to get my car in gear)...

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS AND HOW TO FIX IT?

btw, I have a 967 GSR with an ACT SS Disc and Extreme pressure plate.

I'm not sure what a 967 GSR is, but how old is your clutch?

I didn't think they made many GSRs before the year 1000, but maybe there's air in your clutch line? Bleed your clutch first, then see if you still have troubles. If the problem comes back, you may need a new clutch master cylinder.

I had the same problem with my 94 civic before I got my integra. As Jim Blake says, check your clutch fluid in its reservoir first, it may be low. After that, if it needs to be refilled, fill it and pump your clutch a bunch of times. That should/could put the pressure back to the pedal.

If that doesnt work, Jim Blake is probably right, you may have air in the clutch line and will have to bleed the clutch in order to fix the prob.

sounds like what the other guys said or your pressure plate is going which means time for a new clutch.

Next to your brake master cylinder is a smaller resevoir. That's the one! Also, try looking under the dash at the top of the clutch pedal lever (you'll need a flashlight). See if there's any moisture or even dripping at the top of the pedal lever. That would indicate a leaking clutch master cylinder, which would require a replacement.
