Default TCM code 4 - VSS problem....now what??

My check engine light came on recently, so I bought the Helm manual and pulled the codes. The CEL was code #70 (auto tranny malfunction) and more specifically, the TCM code was #4, problem with VSS sensor (vehicle speed sensor.....how big is this problem? IS this a relatively easy fix?..Any help appreciated...thanks

The speed sensor is on top of the differential, you'll need a long extension and a 10mm swivel socket to make the job easy.

Not hard and even easier since you have a manual
