are there any fiberglass hoods that do not require hood pins?
there are plenty of companys out there that make carbon fber ones without hood pins. why dont you get one of those?
carbon fiber are generally more expensive...and I want it to be body colored...i suppose I could paint a carbon fiber hood.

Problem solved.
I prefer the carbon fiber cause it's tougher. Seems pointless to get carbon fiber and then paint it. It's not pointless at all. Smart people buy carbon fiber because it's lightweight, not because of it's pattern.

I actually just installed a carbon fiber hood and am planning on painting it. I was told that carbon fiber hoods are just fiberglass hoods with a carbon fiber lay on top of it. Is this true?
