Default Re: vafc (insane_integra)

SAFC = Super Air Flow Converter
VAFC = Vtec Air Flow Converter

You can use either one in either car, but if your car doesn't have Vtec, then it obviously won't operate the Vtec features of the AFC.

What exactly are you asking? Do you have a VAFC, but have a non-Vtec car? It will still work, but the Vtec activation points on the AFC will be useless to you. You will just be able to use the MAP/air/fuel adjustments.

You can't just put in a Vtec ECU in a non-Vtec equipped car. It won't run. In fact, it won't even plug in.
