Vinyl Sheets
This might be a dead question from the beginning but here goes. Have a 94 white DX coupe. Black lips, trim, mirrors, etc. Was planning on painting the hood, roof between the channels, and trunk a gloss black. Basic DIY at the beginning of the spring. Don't really want to mess with the factory paint because it's still in very good shape so though about doing a black vinyl tape. Run the vinyl for 2 or so years and remove when i get tired of it. Did a search and found 141 threads on stickers, and small stuff. Question is has anyone here covered large areas on a ride, problems, and what vinyl to use. Also will engine heat cause problems?
Here some examples:

Ya, I know but was watching the Daytona 500 qualifying last week and they had a ride there done completely with one of those vehicle wraps. I think is was the Sharpies car. Thinking something along that line.

it can be done no problem, just go to your local automotive sticker shop
theres one near my house, i went there a couple years ago with a friend to get some stickers, and they had pretty big rolls of vinyl, just make sure there good, and theres no
bubbles and you should be fine, its not going to be cheap though, it whould be either the same price to paint or maybe even cheaper, but will be permanent
