What's goin on guys? I have a 00si wit a b20/vtec (b16 head) and I was putting in the jdm type r ecu (obd1) and i have the conversion harness and everything but when i put the ecu in my check engine light came on and vtec wouldnt open. So I manually checked the codes and it blinked code 21 (vtec spool solenoid valve) now checking out all these forums from the whole damn web i found possible problems such as, low oil pressure, faulty circuit, something unplugged. Looking at my wiring harness I couldnt see any of that but I have a stock fuel pump so I'm thinking that might be it. So just for the hell of it i put in my b16 ecu and the light turned off and vtec opens... What the **** is going on?!?!
