Default accord faster than a vigor?

i was just called out by a guy in an Acura Vigor! We are going down to the track tomorrow to run a 1320. Its old and smokes and my car is a 95 accord F22b1 with around 49,000 miles on the new motor. I have a K&N intake and Magnaflow exhaust; can i beat him?

Just race an fiind out. Both of ur cars r slow so I don't really see what is the point. You have a 50/50 chance. You either win or lose.

1lo95, welcome to Honda-Tech the accord forum. Everyone here is a bitch that's why i stopped coming. Browse through the threads; their all flames.

oh, and my god, what ever you do, don't say header with an 'S' because you'll be crucified.

What's wrong with getting a second opinion on whether such and such a car will beat another? If you don't like the topic, DON'T READ the thread. I understand that it would suck if there were threads like this non-stop but i doubt that would happen. If you don't like it, don't read, and don't answer.
And don't reply with "both cars are slow it doesn't matter". You elitist ********. Everyone had to start somewhere. It's not like you guys never raced without your turbos and such.
Just keeping it real. I know i will be flamed out for this post by all the elitists.

Yes, you will be flamed for the stupidity of your post. You already have a proven track record of being a moron. Further, if you would READ you would know this is a TECHNICAL resource board. Wtf is technical about e-racing??? There is a section of this board called General Discussion and Debate. USE IT.

False...only idiots that come in here and ask bench racing; see this thread, questions. Not only is it in the rules but it's pointless...go find out instead of sitting on the Internet wondering. This site has TONS of technical information the user must be receptive to interpret information though.

No, it runs off the idiots, like iwishilivedinjapan and thatonejewishguy, 7speed and his 70/30 50/50 medium slip differential, and the guy that wanted to make his RX-7 look like vin diesel's car, and said he had nukes and was gonna call the 'cribs' on us, the guy that wanted stolen parts, the girl that wanted 'racer for life' tattooed in japanese on her back and she isnt even japanese...etc....

People with no clue can to to hell on this board.

There are still too many morons here.

Everyone else can stay.

wishilivedinjapan, if you want, i will gladly go pull up some of your old posts, and then tell you why we treated you like an asshat in each one. as Dave's sig states it, the accord forum is one of the most loosely regulated forums on here, as urban is the only mod who currently has an accord, and its a track car, so theres not much he can get out of browsing the accord forum. that being said, its up to us (ususally the ******) to discourage retarded **** like this from being posted, and trying to keep the forum as clean as possible. i appreciate the fact that you stopped browsing in here, cause at least you did the mature thing of just stopping to post, but your the exception to the rule. if you think its so bad, why dont you try GDD or the Eg/EK forum.....

This thread needs to go ahead and end before it gets any worse, especially since we're getting way off topic, but I'm going to go ahead and say this anyways:

Yes, the flaming gets out of hand sometimes. A lot of us get flame happy from time to time without even realizing it, and I'll be the first to admit to it. But there are some things that EVERYONE needs to realize. For one, none of us know everything. A lot of people come on here and spread misinformation like crazy. Those that know that misinformation to be wrong, immediately feel more confident in their own knowledge. The problem is, people get overconfident and cocky.

For the newer guys: The first things ya'll are going to have to understand is that most everything has already been covered. A LOT. So many times in fact, that guys who have been around for a while get tired of seeing the same thing over and over again. Threads like "how can I make my car faster" and "I want to turbo my car... what do I need?" are completely redundant. A quick search (using adequate search words) will give you more information than you're going to get by starting a new thread.

Yes, some of the kinds of attitudes that are portrayed here WILL run off some very knowledgeable people. I feel we're lucky to have those that remain and contribute to this site.

And yes, there are some "morons" on occasion. No, an Accord is not meant for mudding and doing donuts at 60mph in the mud. If you do so, break something, and come here and ask about it (and someone has), you WILL get flamed for your stupidity and otherwise idiotic/moronic activities.

To sum it up, I think we ALL need to calm down with flaming/name-calling/arguing, with the "everyone here is a bitch" and "elitist *******" crap. All we're doing is acting the same way that the guy we're bitching about acts.

[/end rant]

mods: feel free to dock me points and/or delete my post if you feel necessary.

Getting back to the point of the original thread...I am still waitng to hear the results. I'm in the position of having driven both of these cars in my job. I can tell you without a doubt the vigor has the bottom end get up and go off the line.
I'm pretty sure that BMW was the 1st with the 5 cylinder inline, and the claim to fame was that there are 2 cylinders on power stroke.
