I've never seen numbers like that on an Accord. And this is the first one that justifies the look with the power. Although, all that stuff does probebly weigh it down. Got any pictures of the engine bay?

He is a member over at HondaHookup.com. It weighs about 3500lbs apparrently. I dont care how much power it makes, i wouldnt be caught dead driving that thing, especially with a license plate that says "Type R"

Wouldnt do well on the track?? You've lost your mind!!!!! The car has almost 200 lb/ft of torque at just over 3000 RPMs. Any more torque and he would have serious traction problems. Know what your talking about b4 you post. He has a good setup, decent torque to get him off the line, and really good HP to get him down the track.

morgan knows what he's talking about and he isnt talking about 1/4 mile, althoug i would have to protest morgan, you dont need power below 3k, who is ever really below that anyway?

Even off the boost, it's got loads more torque than my car. And mine does okay on the track. (At least I'd like to think so.)

As accor owners we are not used to seeing that on a accord, so let us cream our pants!

i don't know what all of you are arguing about with all this mumbo jumbo but the car looks decent and has the best of both worlds...body 'styling' (if that's what you want to call it) and performance to back it up with...now i don't know about wher any of you come from but accords with horse power in the 300 range is pretty rare here, hell any car with horsepower in the 300 range is rare here (good ol' indiana)...not a whole lot of those around...and keep in mind the cars he could be taking on with that sort of power...let's just say those camaroes and mustangs wouldn't be a problem anymore...not a bad car...tuned to the way he likes it...that's all that counts...good work!

I don't care for the looks, but it does have some nuts under the hood.

Lets look at it this way, if you strip it of EVERYTHING but the essentials of going fast on a ROAD COURSE, it would make one serious track *****! If you want to drag race, get a RWD car. Accords and drag racing dont go together too well.

Most performance cars that weigh as much as the Accord have 6's. Using a 4cyl with a 3000lb car for performance is an oxymoron, but with some FI or a good NA build and suspension modification it can be as fun to drive as anything. The problem is, they come from the factory in a very mild state of tune in every aspect. But as we can all agree are rewarding cars with the right mods.

i don't give a about it, i stand by my post, spool away in that heavy thing, being 318hp and 239trq means nothing when it really has to move around or down a track

Yeah, pretty sure. It would make no sense to mount the intercooler behind the radiator right? Besides, that doesnt look like any radioator I've ever seen.
