Default Running 32mm offset on 99 Civic hatch

Does anyone have experience of running a substantially lower offset? I've calculated that they will sit 13mm further out.

My car is lowered 2.5 all round. Thanks in advance. If anyone has pics that would be most useful.

a lower offset has a significant effect on scrub radius, load on your wheel bearings/ball joints, yadda yadda.

mind you, track width is increased, roll center improved.. etc.

depending on how much of an increase over stock (I cant remember) it shouldnt produce THAT negative of an effect. make sure everything clears!

You will be fine for clearance. A friend ran a set of 15x7 +32's on his EH and never had any problems with rubbing. Mind you he has 195/50's on. 205's would prolbey be another story and you might encouner some rub.

Currently on 15X7's w/ a +31 offset on my DA. With 195/55 tires, I have not rubbed at all. Keep in mind also, that if you do rub, you could always roll your fenders.

You're correct, assuming what you have now is +45mm offset wheel (like what comes on a lot of Civics) *and* that wheel is the same width as what you are going too. I saw in another of your threads you mentioned the Enkei is a 15x6.5 +32... Do you already have 6.5" wide rims now? If not and its something narrower, you need to halve the difference in the two widths and add that to the offset difference. Just fyi, cause it might be further out than you expected.

XRCR6 - you're right, I am running 6.5 now with a 45mm offset.

Try this site if you want to calculate your clearance:
