Has anyone tried, tested and/or done dyno comparisons with any aftermarket IM's, cams, valve springs etc for the B18B1 vs. the stock stuff? I am thinking of getting the Rocket Motorsports cam package and using the stock cams in my B18A1 and also use the B18b1 IM on the A1 instead of buying another stock one.

I'm using a B1 IM on my A1 head. What comes with the RMS cam package? Stock cams should be fine for a street car...just crank the boost a few extra psi.

 

im buyin a skunk2 intake manifold for my ls, but it all wont be together with the turbo for a month or so .


i have heard very good tings about 402-T's and boosted ls's

 

yeah im thinking of using my B1 IM on my A1 engine that will be in my daily driver and then picking up a nice aftermarket one for the B1 turbo project. Im just not sure what IM is good for a boosted LS as most of the aftermarket pieces are designed for top-end power.

The RMS cam package comes with there L21 cams, titanium springs and retainers for i believe $549 on Kteller's site. Reason im looking at them is i wouldnt mind taking the B1 cams and putting them into the A1 head. Im shooting for 300whp at first on my turbo B1 and then when i do internals i wanna get close to 400whp.
