with new cams practically comming out every month now, I wonder how the many people are not jumping aboard the new cam bandwagon and are running the older high lift cams such as the Toda's and Jun's
if you're running either of these cams, post your setup and represent

lol, don;t jump aboard jsut yet, I'm still a lover of jun and toda ... and the onyl one that I've seen thats very impressive is Endyn's bumpstix ... but can;t disclose details on that.
a few people that I help out still use spec Cs and I tell them to continue with them, high mileage tolerant jsut like stock billets.
jump aboard in a few years after people put 20-30k miles on the "new" cams

Yup, toda's grinds are still my favorite.
I'm running spec a's in my turbo car, and spec c's in my allmotor one.
And of course I like jun3/4 as well.
These are classics.
I'd like to do a spec c vs spec d vs jun 3 vs jun 4 cam test on my new motor one day...

I have some first grind m22's that i can get ahold of easily.
but if i test them, it'll be in a 85mm bore, 12.5-12.7 ITR motor with a portflow head and hytech header

I've been using Toda Cs for a long time already.According to the specs, Toda C intake valve closing is 52.5 degrees. The intake closing determines the max rpm which means that a later intake closing will achieve a higher rpm.Skunk2 stage3 intake closes at 52 degrees,Buddyclub spec 4 cams closes at 49 degrees...although these 2 cams have more duration than Toda C,I have seen consistent 10,200rpm on my B20 setup, with jenvy ITB and Toda headers to match.

I change cams alot.. But I think my love willl always be with my Toda b's...It was the most fun street cam I had.. I can only assume the c's would be the same with alittle more kick after 6500. Greg S , you have a set of c's I can dyno?
Hi T-bone, I'll have to agree with you on that...Toda Bs were my fav too with my 1.6 setup...been using them in my first 3 years to my satisfaction. However, my friends(jun supporters) swear that Toda cams suck, can't feel the vtec crossover.
Is the BC4 cams really that good? As stated, they are meant for endurance race, but is it suitable for drag?
