Default SOHC cam swap

Gonna be installing a new cam in the next week or so on my accord (F23A1). What all do I have to do besides unbolt the valvetrain and rebolt/torque it down after it's installed? I know what the actual procedure consists of but what about checking for clearances and stuff? Will I need to do anything like that or will I just be taking old cam out, put new cam in, bolt everything back together. I have a haynes manual to help me but I plan on doing this myself so any advice is welcome.

You will need to check and adjust your valve lash also

yah you will be good. you might want to wipe some oil or assembly lube on it before sticking it in.
