Default Drag Radials

Im looking into purchasing some Nitto's or BFG drag radials. What size should I get ? How wide can I go and is that better? I have some stock 95 gsr rims.

don't know about the BFG's but the nittos only come in one size for the 15's. that is 205/45/15

I have some Nittos, they work good on the street, but traction still ain't much on the track. Plus they SUCK in the rain.

Check out the new BFG G Force drag Radials. They are more import friendly sized. 205/50/15 are correct sizing.

Tire Rack want $105, Jegs $110. Jegs was cheaper but just upped their prices.

i've run the nitto's 205/50 and they were good. very low 2.0 60's common. 95% of the time i was under a 2.15. i'm running the new g force bfg's in a 205/50 and although i haven't been to the track yet, i'm willing to bet there going to be better. i've heard from others that they're stickier than the nitto's but so far its been too cold to go to the track. it seems as though the bfg's have a bit more sidewall. that should be good for the track at about 20 psi of pressure.

either way, for straightline racing, both the nitto's and bfg's are better than anything else out there.

I have heard nothing but great things with the new BFG's. I would go that route.

the nittos don't last very long. they last for only about (roughly) 15,000 or less. and YES, they do suck major donkey ***** in the rain. i don't know about the width of your 14 inch rim but the 205's fit on my HX rims

what i mean by running them backwards is they are directional tires. so run them in the opposite direction.

I have 15" gsr rims, Im trying to find some spare 15" blackies. Would it be better to find some 15" or slap some 14's up front because I have some stock 91 ls 14" rims already?

the stock 14" rims would be lighter than the steelies plus the 14" drag radials are cheaper than the 15" rims. plus, i didn't know honda made 15" steelies
