ok guys,

Im currently building my h22 for my 95 accord. I went with pauter rods, cp pistons 9:1:0 compression ratio, manley valve trane, crower cams, equal length manifold, sc61 percision turbo t/4, and a three inch exhaust all the way back. i was wondering what size charge pipes from the intake and to the turbo. im wanting to achieve 450-500hp. i was thinking 3" from the intake, 2.5" from the turbo to the intercooler. i was told not to do 3" because of lag, is this true, please help, i did a search, no luck, thanks!

 

I would stick with 2.5" for all the chargepipe. 3" will hold more volume and that will take more time to pressurize and that equals more lag.
