i bought my gutted 94 EH in October 2004, i just started putting together my all motor set up. i would like to know how long did it take to put together your motor. Considering its a more delicate process than putting in pistons and rods and big *** turbo.

took me 6 months to get all my stuff for my motor...and m14dc2,i worked on my motor for about four hours a day and it took me 2 days to put my motor together after i got the block back from getting bored, honed and cleaned and the head back from my buddy who had the tool to put in my new valve seals and new springs and retainers, double checked all bearings, i plastiguaged main and rod bearings, measured gap in each ring individually, and file fitted the ones i had too, double checked all clearances in the head, double checking all gaskets and such to make sure i didnt forget anything, double checking torque specs, dry assembly for plastiguaging and then taking it back apart is what takes the longest really, and i like to take my time making sure every part and bolt was super clean.........

Too long. Ended up selling my car and everything bought for the motor thus far because I was tired of waiting (well over a year).

Sorry. Not very motivating I know.
