OK heres the deal... I had an LS swapped into my car 5 months ago. When I first start the car in the morning it runs fine and makes perfect power for about 10 minutes...then once the idle drops and the temp is normal, the car runs sluggish at low rpm's. If I were to put the pedal to the floor at 1,000 rpm you wouldnt even feel it, and the rpms would take long to rise (even with a b16 tranny). When the car is in this state, the rpms wont just jump when i tap the gas like normal, it requires you to press the gas more to rev it the same.
Mods: Catback and thats it... NO CEL's
Also: There is a wire coming from the o2 sensor on my header that is supposed to go somewhere, but its just dangling there. Could this be part of the problem? And where does that wire go?

Lot of people have been saying their cars are sluggish at first from Old or Worn motor mounts. I wouldn't think that missing an o2 sensor could make it that bad.

Strange, same with me. My car when its cold feels alot faster before it warms up. It makes alot more power before 3500 when its cold, Ive never tried going all the way with it on a cold engine, so 3500+ is a mystery to me.

if you dont plug in the o2 sensor it will run rich all the time and be slow in general
i think the af ratio adjusts itself when its cold to run rich to help warm it up...not sur ein your case though
