i had to take the trunk latch apart now i cant figure out how it fits back can someone please take a picture of the latch minus the plastic thing that covers it up please ..

 

trunk wont close

 

no one replied i was able to figure it out.. cwest carbon trunk is a bitch i had to drill massive holes and the key hole didnt line up with the license plate frame so no more keyhole!!!
i would get vis before this.. even though this is prolly lighter.. now it feels llike my car doesnt have a system in it

 

One of my best friends has Seibon (I think) CF trunk on his EM1 and it was pretty much the same thing. The bar that went from the keyhole to the actual latch was hitting the inside of the trunk skin, and wouldn't allow him to even shut the trunk with it on.

 

This is all I could come up with. Hope it helps...

i took the key hole off. and now im going to covor up the key hole with the liquid plastic sand that **** down etc... yeah that bar knocks i think i could use some bike wire. im not gonna mess with it.. id rather it look shaved i got the latch to work so trunk release is straight.. i could put another trunk popper if i wanted but its all good..less weight runs great. all and all its been a hard time but the stock trunk is so heavy everytime i think its not worth it i go and bench press the stock trunk heh

my stereo system is custom mdf enclosure with etched glass and plexiglass covering the amp..

im about to sell my system and buy blox type a cams and some cam gears
and get a valve job and some other head work.. put a small system in there. maybe a single 10 500 watts or something in the spare tire well or build a custom enclosure behind the drivers seat in the center right behind the center console and have sub down fireing..

i want all carbon fiber car and i want it to be all motor.. and i want like 200 pounds of torque but i dont think that will happen. all motor 200 pounds of torque shiet..
